1. Problem Recognition

Now a day Mobile phone is become more advanced and there are a lot of new model comes every year and competition is become so wader so it is important to carefully select a Type of Phone that fits fit your expectations and needs. So using Matrix analysis a technique it will help the decision maker to select the best mobile phone that satisfies his/her needs.

2. Development the Feasible Alternative

Considering the follow list of phones brand to be purchased:

• SAMSUNG S 5
• Sony Ericson
• I Phone 5
• HTC
• Nokia

3. Development of the Outcome for Alternative

The following criteria to be considered while selecting the phone which matches needs and expectation:

• Design must attract the customer and updated style
• Software should be updated software and technology
• Function and availability of the program in the phone where it can support any other program which is available in market
• Cost should be compatible in the market
• Parts and repair if required

4. Selection of Criteria

Using the decision Matrix Analysis technique for making the decision to select the best fit phone to customer expectation.

5. Analysis and Comparison of the Alternative

Table-1 option for each of the factors to make decision. Score each option from 0 (poor) to 5 (very good): where all the number is personal assumption.

Cost: 4=Cheapest, 3=Cheap, 2=Expensive, 1=Most Expensive

Design: 4= High, 3= Medium, 2= Low, 1= Very Low

Software: 4=Very high, 3=High, 2=Good, 1=Poor

Function: 4=Very high, 3=High, 2=Good, 1=Poor

Parts: 4=1000, 3=2000, 2=4000, 1=5000

Table-2 scoring the numbers for the relative importance of the factors in your decision. Show these as numbers from, say, 0 to 4, where 0 means that the factor is absolutely unimportant in the final decision, and 4 means that it is very important. As an example High=4, Medium=3, Low=2, Very Low=1

Now multiply each of your scores from Table-2 by the values for relative importance of the factor that you calculated in Table-1. This will give you weighted scores for each option/factor combination in Table-3

From the decision Matrix Analysis (Grid Analysis) technique it shows that I Phone is the best option for customer where is fits the needs and satisfaction for the earlier specified criteria in section 3.

7. Performance Monitoring and the Post Evaluation of Result

It shows the second observed option after I Phone is Samsung where is score the second highest result after I phone where the customer can focus on what exactly he requires
