Competency framework is one of the effective tools used to manage talent within any organization. The company decided to go ahead with developing and implementing the competency framework for all employees. The project team been assigned and I’m managing the project as project manager. The team is consisting of 7 members mixed between HR department team, consultant and technical departments members.
The team needs to identify weather to do the assessment by the internal or external resources.

1. Problem Definition.

Program team ” Takatuf Oman 2014″ establish during 5 days face to face workshop. This program is 3 months competency based project management program which requires extensive working among project teams throughout 5 phases. Phases one closed by getting a notice to proceed from the sponsor where the team successfully manage to work on all program/ project documentations and define the deliverable.

For such a new built program team, they will go through different building relationship stages according to Dr. Bruce Tuckman theory. Takatuf objective, we need to identify the norm of the team development stages in order to know the suitable leadership styles to run the team.
